This genuine period printed woodblock print is by Toyoharu KUNICHIKA (1835-1900), one othe distinguished Meiji period artists. This print of Prince Genji in an interior with two women is from the series "Fifty-four Modern Feelings [Compared to the Chapters of Genji]," 1884. The large painting on the wall is an interesting element.
This is a very good impression with perfect color in perfect condition. It measures about 10 x 14 3/4 inches.
