Dealer description: Sensitive shin-hanga portrait of a beauty after a bath, her head buried in her arms as she sits on the floor. Her position conveys a sense of sadness or grief, her face hidden from the world as she rests her arms across her knees. An embossed red, yellow, and white checked sash is draped over her knees, the fringed ends trailing onto the floor. Beautifully drawn with flowing line work. |
