| Notes (this edition) These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.: | KAWASE HASUI (1883-1957) "Arashiyama In Spring" Made in the 4th Month of the 9th Year of Showa or April 1934. It depicts a pleasure sanpan on the river in Arashiyama (a suburb of Kyoto), seen through pine trees and flowering cherry trees. The print measures 10.5 by 15.5 inches. It has a 6mm Watanabe seal meaning that it is a post war reprint but was printed while Hasui was alive. Signed and sealed with the Hasui red seal in the lower right corner. Very Good Condition. |
