For your bidding consideration is a Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) Japanese woodblock print. Hasui is a highly listed artist, known for his woodblocks and watercolors with exceptional auction records. I believe this is sunset at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. This is in very good condition although it is completely laid down on backing with a faint matt line. It would not photograph but, there is a Wantanbe seal in lower right corner. The frame needs repainting or replacing, there is blue paint on the side of the frame only. This is behing glass with frame measuring 19.35 X 14.75 inches, and woodblock measuring 15.5 X 10.5 inches.
