Condition: Fine colors. Trimmed in margins, to borderline at right. Japanese album backing paper. Minor soils, marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation.

Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage and mica. Strong woodgrain visible in the background.

Subject: A young waitress pauses with her tray on the seashore to listen to the orders of an unseen customer. Behind her moored junks and the flares of cormorant fishing boats.

Date: c. 1860

Condition: Good colors. Trimmed to image. Thin Japanese album backing paper. Minor marks and flaws. Generally good state of preservation.

Impression: Good impression.
