Japanese Woodblock Print by Kawase Hasui

Ueno Park, Tokyo

Artist: Kawase Hasui

Date:1953 , Published by Watanabe Shozaburo

Image Size: Oban, about 10" x 15"

Condition: Fine color and bleed through, very good condition, some slight waves near the top of print, absolutely no water damage to these prints. I took these pictures outside and most of them show shadows, but there are no shadows or problems with the prints unless noted. May be a calendar print commissioned by Pacific Transport lines (edition of 500 copies), never been framed

This woodblock print is part of a hanging calendar / portfolio and each print is attached just at the top. The other paper shows yellowing around the edges but the print itself is in great condition. There are eleven other prints from this portfolio that I am listing individually
A Japanese woodblock , Hasui , 1952, title is Ueno Park Tokyo, 10 1/4" x 15", signed and sealed Hasui and an ORIGINAL print which was commissioned by Pacific Transport Lines, Inc as a calender print(month of March).
