This is a gorgeous woodblock print by noted sosaku hanga printmaker Shima Tamami, unusual among sosaku hanga printmakers in that she is a woman. The print measures about 13 3/4 x 20 1/2 plus full margins. The print is signed lower right in pencil,dated '62, and numbered 13/50. Excellent color, impression; very good condition; there is some very faint toning in the margins (so faint, I couldn't get it to show up in the pic), but it doesn't affect the image. |
