Rare 1st Ed. Hasui - Yukufu Hot Springs, 1924
with Original Series Seal

You are bidding on a First Edition of a rarely seen woodblock print by Hasui, entitled Yukufu Hot Springs, from the 3rd Souvenirs of Travel Series. It bears the Hasui's Sui Seal and the original series seal in the left margin (the box with the Japanese characters), authenticating that this is a first edition printing. (This means that it was actually printed in or around 1924.)

This print has strong unfaded colors and the paper is creamy white. The print itself has a dimension of 14 1/8 by 9 1/2 inches, plus full margins.

The print is laid down on board and there is a minor brown mat-line. A qualified conservator could clean the mat-line and likely lift the print off the board if you desired.
