This is a genuine original shin hanga Japanese woodblock print by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) titled "Three little Islands" one of the Inland Sea second series, dated (1930), titled in English & kanji, and pencil signed by the artist. This is a genuine pencil signed period piece and not a posthumous restrike . Yoshida does an excellent job with the light in this early morning sky. Excellent attention to detail on this print. The print is in good condition and has Yoshida's brown jizuri seal (translation "self-printed" or "printed by myself"). Fine impression, very good color and registration. No toning, folds or creases. Framed in its original frame, measuring 11" by 16".
