The artist is Kasamatsu Shiro as signed. Paper is about 16 1/2" by 11 1/4".
Great color and bleed through. Appears mint.
Last print in the pull of the only ***edition of 100***. Rare to score the last.
KASAMATSU IS WELL KNOWN AND RENOWNED AS A WOODBLOCK ARTIST. THIS PRINT DEPICTS THE THREE-HEADED DEITY IN ASHURA TEMPLE. THE PRINT HAS STRONG COLORS AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION THOUGH THERE IS A STRIP OF GLUE RESIDUE ALONG THE TOP EDGE OF THE PAPER.

***THE PRINT IS PENCIL MARKED 100/200***

AND HAS THREE KASAMATSU SEALS/SIGNATURES. IT IS ALSO DATED 1959. THE IMAGE SIZE IS 9 1/2" x 14 1/2". THE PAPER SIZE IS 11" x 16 3/4".
