This is an original oban size, shin hanga Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) titled "Nagoya Castle", dated Showa 7( 1932), and signed/sealed in the image by the artist. The print was published by Watanabe Shozaburo, bears the Watanabe "D" seal (1931-1941) which makes this print a first edition.
The print is in overall fine (pristine) condition. Fine impression, excellent color and registration. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not setdown or trimmed. This print has never been framed. Paper size is 10.5" x 15.5".
