Offered for sale is an original 20th century Japanese woodblock print by Shiro Kasamatsu (1898-1991), titled Rice Planting, 1953. It was published by Unsodo, and is an early printing.
The print is in very good condition, with very fresh colors. There is a spot in the top left corner, a printing smudge in the right margin, and paper reisidue on the reverse right corner. The image measures approximately 14 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, plus margins. |
