Notes (this edition) These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.:	Sunday, 17 September 2006 Hasui pl. 46, Evening Showers at Matsunoshima, 9 1/2" x 14 1/4" Condition: Printing smudges on bottom margin . Part of ful set	Rainey Night on the Pine Islet from the series Mitsubishi Villa at Fukugawa by Kawase Hasui. Original woodblock print circa Taisho 9 (1920). Fine condition. (Naturally thin margins.) Never been framed. Oban size measures 10.2 x 15.0 inches. Compare with #44 in "Kawase Hasui Mokuhanga Shu" and #39 "Special Exhibition Kawase Hasui Charms of Woodcut Prints in the Taisho Era". Beautiful deep colors make this one of Hasui's finest evening scenes.
