This is an original oban size modern Japanese woodblock print by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997) printed circa 1965. I believe the print depicts a summer scene in Saito's hometown of Aizu. The print is in very good condition. Fine impression, registration, color and bleedthrough. The print is sealed and signed in white ink in the image. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not laid down or trimmed. The only flaw is some tape residue staining to the verso which does not affect the image. An nice piece that will add to any Saito collection. Paper size is 11.5" x 17.25", image size is 10.25" x 15.25".
