This genuine period printed woodblock print is by Toyoharu KUNICHIKA (1835-1900), one othe distinguished Meiji period artists. This print of two women with their children is from the series "Fifty-four Modern Feelings [Compared to the Chapters of Genji]," 1884. Small cottages with grass roofs, a cherry tree behind a bamboo fence fill the background.
This is a very good impression dusted with mica with perfect color in perfect condition. It measures about 10 x 14 3/4 inches.
