Nice piece , measures 15 1/2 inches (wide)X 10 1/2 inches (up & down) total sheet size . Looks to be farmers working the field with their ox/cow in the background . This woodblock has lots of markings , all shown in the close-ups below .The only part I can read is :: PRINTED by KYOTO-HANGA-IN 1952. this is not glued down , but a small piece of tape at the bottom and a larger piece at the top on the backside ,holding to the matting frame, for the most part this print is loose.

Ono Bakufu (Japanese 1888-1976) … Oban-yoko-e (10 x 14 1/2 inches) … Signed with red Bakufu seal lower left with publishers date and stamp in red in right margin. Stamped on bottom "Printed by Kyoto-Hanga-In 1952" …Title: (Rice paddy?) … Condition: Good. No rips, tears or scratches to paper or image. There is slight UV mat toning that can be seen in lower left ebay photograph. Still a very clean impression with lots of color. We believe this print was published 2 years after a similar print of this image was published in 1950. Still early and well within Ono's life time .
