A Crane in Water by Kano Motonobu. Genuine Showa era woodblock print based on Motonobu's famous 1543 painting "Views of the Four Seasons at Hanajima Island" (Shiki Hanjima Zu). Print is in very good condition. Double Oban size measuring 20.2 x 16.0 inches. Good ink bleedthrough on thick washi. Uetani carver's seal and Hashizume printer's seal in left margin. Quite spectacular.
