Artist’s chop and publisher seal. Published by Uchida Woodblock Printing Company in Kyoto. A complete set with the folder is a rare find and depicts the talents of the artist Eiichi. Each original woodblock print is tipped in their individual original presentation folders which measure 10” x 14”.
Prints measure: 8 1/2" x 11" - Paper (full-sized margins)
Provenance: Came from a single collector who purchased the entire collection while traveling in Kyoto in the 1960’s.

This Japanese woodcut print is by the artist E. Kotozuka. It was pubished by Uchida. It is entitled "Cherry Blossoms in Nara". I believe it is on of a sequence of prints called "The Scenes of Shiga, Nara, and Kyoto". It is in very good condition and approx. 11 x 8 1/4 inches. |
