Tokuriki, Tomokichiro- Unknown, tea house, yatai.jpg is:
I do not remember who the artist is on this lovely print. I had one some time ago (I sold it on eBay) and it was pencil signed. This print however, is in very good condition with great color and full sheet. It depics what I believe to be a Japanese tea house. There are people sitting inside drinking tea, and a Geisha peeking out of one of the rooms. There is also a cute little dog hidden away. The quality is that of Hasui or Yoshida. It is approx. 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches.

Two original Japanese woodblock prints by master artist Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902-1999) Both are night time scenes of life in Japan. Both images are signed in the image with publishers information in the left border area. Both image measure 14 1/4X9 1/4", they are in good condition, a little very light toning, but nothing that takes away from these high quility woodblock prints, They are tipped in to a backing sheet in two spots on the left side, but they are not laid down, there is a small area of light toning from the original window mat on the print of the wagon, but easily matted out
