Impression Very good ... Later printing after W.W.II.
Colors Good.
Condition Very good ... Lightly toned. Slightly creased.
Description From the series "Tokaido Fukei Senshu" ("Selection of Views of the Tokaido"). Mount Fuji seen from the town of Yui in Suruga province.
Note Watanabe 6 mm round copyright seal.

Width Item 10.4 inches = 26.5 cm
Height Item 15.6 inches = 39.5 cm		 One early edition woodblock print of Kawase Hasui. Print bears Watanabe seal D (1931-41). Top area has some moderate toning as well as in the reverse. There are some rubbed areas around top area. Color faded in some degree. Print still has good impression and color. Size: 10.5"x15".
 Wonderful woodblock by Hasui titled Mt. Fuji From Yuimachi. Made in the 3rd month of the 9th year of Showa, which is March 1934. This was printed from 20 separate blocks in an edition of 100. In mint condition, never framed, NO toning/etc. None of these pictures do this justice. Measures 15 1/4 by 10 1/2. Watanabe seal 1931-1941.
