This is an original oban size Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui titled "Autumn in Funatsu". The print is dated Showa 28 (1953). This is a Hesei era print published by Watanabe Shozaburo after Hasui's death, from the original blocks. The print bears the Watanabe 7mm seal at the lower left corner in the image. The print is in fine (pristine) condition. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. Excellent impression, color, and registration. Image size is 9.5" x 14.25, paper size is 10.5" x 15.5". The print bears the red Hesei edition seal in the lower right margin. ????????? ???
