Colors excellent … burnishing, shomenzuri pattern on the hair
Condition very good … light toning, three moisture stains on the margins and one on the middle left background.
Description "Edo Nishiki"(Edo Brocade Pictures) Ladies are making "mochi gome" (glutinous rice) is pounded using a large wooden mortar and pestle to make the soft sticky dough. It will be cut in various shapes and sizes for the New Year's Day ornament and the dishes.
