japanese woodblock VINTAGE Nice woodblock with markings, I dont have any books to help id or date this work , so lots of photos . This measures 16 X 11 inches a . Lovely standing lady facing to the left .
I do not know who the maker is on this beautiful wood cut print, but it could be Shinsui, Kotondo, Hasui, Yoshida, or any of the other Modern Japanese woodblock print makers. It depicts a pretty little geisha girl in front of a window. Outside there is a lovely little Japanese Garden. The quality is absolutely beautiful. There are slight silver or mica highlights. I would really appreciate it if anyone out there could identify this print for me. It is clearly of the highest quality. It is approx. 16 1/2 x 11 1/2 with really great original color. Excellent condition.
