Notes (this edition) These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.: | Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print featuring a moonlit garden viewed from behind the shadows of trees at the right by Ohno Bakufu (1888-1976). Black ink signature in Japanese and English (B. Ohno) with both red circular and square artist's seals below. The red rectangular seals of the printer and publisher appear in the lower right margin. Published by Kyoto Hanga-in circa 1950. Paper measures about 11 3/8"V x 16 3/8"H (image: 10 1/2"V x 15 3/8"H). Never framed. Excellent overall condition with no toning, soiling, thinning, tears or tape. The paper is slightly buckled at the upper corners and right edge. Trace amounts of paper residue on the back where it was tipped to the original presentation folder.
