Heirinji Temple at Nobidome, Tokyo

Autumn in the classic temple courtyard, the light plays off the trees and dots the stepping stones. A tranquil view of one of the most memorable of Japanese places- the beautiful quiet temple corners, places of peace and solitude.

Signed- Kawase Hasui with red artist’s seal “sui”
Sealed- Publisher Watanabe, 7mm seal, later edition
Image size- 9 ½” x 14 3/8” (oban tate-e)
Condition- Excellent, no toning, tears, not mounted, full margins
Original woodblock print, 15 1/2" x 10 1/2", condition pristine. Printed during Mr.Hasui's Lifetime.
