Yanagibashi Getsumei (Moonlight at Yanagi Bridge) from the series Tokyo Meisho no Uchi (Famous Scenes in Tokyo) by Takeji Asano. Original woodblock print dated Showa 31 (1956). Oban size measures 10.5 x 15.3 inches. Very good condition. A little light foxing. Title and date in lower right of image. Takeji characters and red seal in lower left margin. Strong ink bleed through on thin washi. One of Takeji's best night scenes. |
