JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT BY KAWASE HASUI TITLED BENKII BRIDGE AT AKASAKA. THIS PRINT IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION ,A VERY GOOD IMPRESSION,COLOR GRADATION AND BLEEDTHROUGH.OBAN SIZE APRX . 10.5 x15.5 INCHES. A LIFETIME EDTION PUBLISHED BY WATANABE SHOZABURO COPYRIGHT CARTOUCHE ON THE RIGHT MARGIN.
This antique, early 20th century Japanese Woodblock Print is by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). Including the full and untrimmed margins, this 10 1/2" by 15 1/4" woodblock depicts a people walking over a Bridge. Titled "Akasaka Benkei Bashi" this woodblock was printed in 1931 and the condition of this woodblock is very good
