Evening at Lake Sai by Tsuchiya Koitsu. Genuine woodblock print. Fine condition. Tipped to card stock. 5.8 x 3.8 inches. Strong ink bleedthrough. Red Koitsu seal in lower right of image.

From a folio of sample X-mas cards distributed by the publisher Doi Hangaten. The folio cover and table of contents can be viewed by clicking on the links below the image.

Also, I just bought the postcard "Evening at Lake Sai." It is a variant
of the image you show on your site. Mine has the Doi postcard seal and
title, as well as the Koitsu seal that look more like the ones used on
the Takemura prints. This was not dated, but the other postcard I bought
with this had a date of 1954…it is a reasonable supposition that they
were obtained at the same time, but there is no guarantee of that. A
scan is attached at 400x400.
