This is one of the most striking HASUI prints I have ever seen! Master HASUI's use of color and shading is incredible. The full moon shimmering on the blue gray water and the rich, lush greens of the foliage is truly awe-inspiring. Scan shows slight discoloration of margins. This does not appear on the actual print!
Kawase-HINUMA, HIROURA, MITO- 1.jpg is:

Full Moon at Hiroura, Hinuma, 1946
Kawase Hasui (1883 – 1957)

Full Moon at Hiroura, Hinuma

A beautiful night image in greens at Hinuma. A torri at the end of a spit of land sets next to the calm water. This glowing scene is a wonderful Hasui night image.
