The Story of Genji: # 44

Artist: Kunisada
Format: Chuban tate-e: 10" x 7"

Subject: A young lady with her son in her arms and her maid standing on a stone bridge by a Bamboo grove.

Publisher: Sanoki

Date: c. 1850

Condition: Slightly trimmed. A small corner damage bottom right. Slight toning. Minor soils, marks and flaws. Generally good state.

Colour: Fine colors.

Impression: Very good impression with gauffrage.
