Subject: A man playing the biwa holding a closed fan in one hand, a Ronin stands behind him about to draw his sword.

Date: c. 1850

Condition: Very slightly trimmed. Album backing paper. Slight soils. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fine state.

Colour: Fine colors.

Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage and mica.
