Subject: A courtesan seated in a palanquin holding an open fan looks out to see her unseen lover arriving, another courtesan stands beside her looking on.

Date: c. 1850

Condition: Very slightly trimmed. Album backing paper. Slight soils. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fine state.

Colour: Fine colors.

Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage
