Subject: A bijin with a bowl of flower petals talking to a seated Prince Genji on a veranda.

Publisher: Sanoki

Date: 1852

Condition: Very fine colors with oxidation of the orange pigment on the woman's kimono. Slightly trimmed at base. Japanese album backing paper. Very minor wear and marks. Generally fine state of preservation.

Impression: Very fine surimono quality impression with gauffrage.
