Subject: Rain falling from a night sky on the road from Kameyama. One of Hiroshige's most famous rain scenes. Only in early impressions like this can the true effect of this dynamic design be appreciated.

Date: 1855

Condition: Vibrant colours. Full size with large margins. Laid down on Japanese album backing paper. Repaired album binding holes along right edge. Very minor marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation.

Impression: Fine impression.
