Artist: Hiroshige I
Format: Oban tate-e: 14" x 9"

Subject: Against a blue sky, a huge grey Fuji, with white cap, streaked with grey, rises above white clouds and mist lying over the marshes; above the reeds appear the yellow roofs of six huts and two clumps of trees. Men fishing in the river in the foreground; across the view, with the mountain as a background, a flight of Chidori rise up from the marshes. A majestic design.

Condition: Fine colors. Slightly trimmed in margins. Japanese album backing paper. Album binding holes along right edge. Minor rubbing, soils, marks and flaws. Generally good state of preservation.

Impression: Fine impression.
