Authentic woodblock print. 1917 Taisho era impression. Exquisitly produced by modern woodblock masters Hashiguchi Goyo and Kaburagi Kiyokata. Round Goyo seal in corner. Red Goyo seal on verso. Nice texture, excellent color, impression and ink penetration.
Bargemen pole a ferry across a river. On board the passengers are eating an evening meal. Along side is a small boat in tow that is serving as the kitchen. Above the full moon rises.
