Subject: A group of bijin relaxing on an early Summer morning, one bijin looks over to a neighbouring house where a man sits with a fan. In the distance two bijin with open umbrellas walking in the garden. An evocative design.

Date: c. 1880

Condition: Very slightly trimmed. Laid down on paper. Slightly soiled. A few creases. Minor marks and flaws. Generally good state.

Colour: Fine colors.

Impression: Fine impressions with gauffrage.
