Subject: A lady of the Meiji period (1868-1912). A fashionable lady dressed in western-style before a background of Irises. One of the masterpieces of this superb series.

Publisher: Tsunashima Kamekichi

Date: 22/6/1888

Condition: A little trimmed. Album foldmark along right edge. Signs of a previous matting on verso. Slightly soiled. Minor marks and flaws. Generally good state.

Colour: Fine colors.

Impression: Fine first edition impression with gauffrage, burnishing and metallic pigment. Three colors title cartouche.

Other Notes: Generally considered the finest plate of the series.
