Matano and Sanada from the series Scenes in Japanese History by Chikanobu. Original woodblock print dated Meiji 30 in lower left cartouche of left panel. Each panel measures approximately 14.5 x 9.9 inches. Total of 14.5 x 29.7 inches. Lef panel in fine condition. Middle panel also in fine condition with a little red ink on the bottom. Right panel in very good condition with a few small holes. Washi and ink retain original brightness. Black lacquer adds to the details of the armor, scabbard and bow.
