Title: Tsujido
Artist: Yamagishi Kazue

This is a genuine original large oban size sosaku hanga Japanese woodblock print by Kazue Yamagishi (1893-1966). The print is titled in katakana, signed and sealed in the image.
Yamagishi is a very famous carver who carved blocks for Yokoyama Taikan, Takehisa Yumeji, Kaburagi Kiyokata, Hiroshi Yoshida, Paul Jacoulet, and book covers designed by Koshiro Onchi.

The print is in fine condition. Excellent impression, color, registration and bleedthrough. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. Print size is 13.25" x 16.75".

Tsujido no Fuji by Kazue Yamagishi. Original Japanese woodblock print circa 1929. Fine condition. 13.4 x 16.8 inches. Title, artist's characters and red seal in lower right of image. Yamagishi Kazue watermark in left margin into scene. Good ink bleedthrough.
