My collection
This fine, genuine, period-printed woodblock print is by Toyoharu Kunichika (1835-1900) from the series 'Genji gojuyojo' (Fifty-four Modern Feelings Compared to the Chapters of Genji), 1884. In this series women are portrayed in various domestic activities.
The impression, color and condition are all exceptional. It is virtually a perfect, early impression in the best condition with full margins. It measures about 10 x 14 3/4 inches.
