Height 10.4 inches = 26.5 cm
Nijubashi Bridge by Tsuchiya Koitsu. Original woodblock print dated Showa 14 (1939). Fine color, condition and impression. Oban size measures 15.3 x 10.5 inches. Very nice baren rubbings on verso. Strong texture on thicker washi. Title and date in right margin. Koitsu characters and red shin seal in lower right of image.

Offered is Tsuchiya Koitsu's "Nijubashi", 1939. This print is in fine condition (not pristine). It bears the following marks: Red Koitsu "Shin" seal and signature in lower right of image, and title and date (Showa 13) in the right margin.



The print is on thick textured paper (washi). There is good bleed-through on the back. Color and impression are strong. Condition: There is some minor wrinkling in the lower right corner, and there is a tiny tear in the bottom margin that stops well shy of the image.

Margin to margin, the print is 10.13" x 15". The image is 9.5" by 14.25".

Impression excellent - very good … (printed before W.W.II)
Colors excellent - very good … beautiful blue-purple hue on the far background
Condition very good … margins lightly creased, two tears (1/3 - 1/2 inch long, taped verso) on the upper margin, a tear (1/4 inch long) on the upper right corner
