Koitsu-Maruyama Park in the Snow- Hangaten offset2.jpg is:

Up for auction is this Watanabe Koitsu "Maruyama Park in the Snow Print", by Tsuchiya Koitsu, 1936. This 17" x 11 3/8" print is absolutely beautiful in Great rich color and Great ink saturation to the back. This print was published by Doi Teiichi which contains a water mark in the upper left hand corner and a carver printer seal on the lower left hand side margin. Tsuchiya Koitsufs signature and seal are also n the lower left hand side of the print. The print is in relatively good condition with no rips are tears, it also has a nice impressed texture to the paper from the block impressing. Although it is a wonderful print with brilliant color and comes with a low NO RESERVE starting price is does have some minimal damages. Mostly is in the lower right hand corner where there is a bend in the printc that is about 3.5" in length diagonally across the bottom along with another bend in the same corner closer to the outer edge of about 1" in length. Across the top in the margin there appears like a few crease like marks, perhaps where it was once rolled. Otherwise, it is a great print with bright vivid color and once framed would look fantastic.

Haru no Yuki Kyoto Maruyama by Tsuchiya Koitsu. Genuine woodblock print dated March Showa 11 (1936). Later impression from original blocks. Very good condition. 17.3 x 11.6 inches. Yamaguchi supervisor's seal in left margin. Harada carver's seal, Seki printer's seal, red Doi seal and red Kawauchi? Seal in margin. Nice texture and ink bleedthrough on fine washi. Very pretty.

Guaranteed original Japanese woodblock print.
