Thank you very much for sharing your research and enthusiasm with all of us who are connected with Japanese woodblock prints. I am attaching several photos of the image with Doi Hanga-ten with carver: Katsumura, printer: Ito.

Mahalo and Aloha,

This Japanese woodblock print measures approx. 11-1/4 x 17 inches. Very attractive snow scene. Included is the original paper frame I found with it. This came from a local estate. Mounted to the paper frame at the corners and ready for framing. Image is very bold. Markings on the lower left and right. No creases or tears but marks at the corners from mounting.

Gorgeous woodblock print, this piece has been stowed away for the last sixty plus years and never framed or enjoyed otherwise. The print measures just over 15" tall x just over 10" wide (oban). The print features a winter scene with a rich red pagoda style building, stars in the night sky, snow on the trees and two Japanese women walking in the foreground. The colors are so rich and vibrant: red, green, blues, purple, pink and white. The print is signed on the lower right corner with what I believe is the artist Koitsu's signature, there is a red seal mark beneath the signature. There are additional signatures on the lower left of the print, outside the print itelf on the paper, and on the lower right on the paper. The print is in very good condition with no damage to report.

The seals in the left margin indicate that the print was published by Doi Hangaten, carved by Harada and printed by Yokoi.
