Thanks to wwolst12 for this DB entry.

This auction is for a set of 12 antique, early 20th century, Japanese Woodblock Prints which measure only 4” by 6”. These twelve prints all depict winter snow scenes and are signed by various artists. They each come mounted, along the top edge only, to a black and silver paper and are in all original clean condition with no problems or any restorations.

Vintage Japanese Woodblock Print

This lovely old woodblock is a beautiful scene of a snow-covered water mill and stream. It is minitature in size, only about 3.75" x 5.5" . It is very lightly attached at 2 points to a backing paper which has yellowed with age. (It can easily be removed.)

The colors are more blue than my photo shows. The close-up of the signature is a closer representation of the lightest blue. I received this from a family friend in Japan when I was a child, which was in the 1950's.
