Note that the greens have mostly faded to blue in this print.

Kuchibeni - Rouge
Paper size: 27.5 x 42.5 cm. From: “The first series of modern beauties” (Gendai bijinshû dai-isshû), published by Watanabe Shôzaburô in 1929. Number 105 from a limited edition of 250 (see detail 1); oblong Watanabe seal below the limitation seal.

Fine impression, colours and condition: use of silver in the mirror.

Size: 40.9 x 26.2 cm. (16.1" x 10.3").

Published in 1929 by Watanabe Shôzaburô (brown 6mm-seal - in this case the brown 1929 version!).

Literature: The Female Image, plate 56.

Fine impression, colours and condition - the pictures give a very good idea of the state of the print. Look especially at the use of silver in the mirror. This print is in really mint condition
