Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Watanabe Ikuharu June - After a Bath Competing Beauties in the Showa Era, 1927 Woodblock Print 15.75 x 10.75 in The actual title in Japanese is "Kazemachizuki, Yuagari" (風待月　湯上り), which translates to "After the bath, in the lunar month where we wait for the wind to blow". There was obviously no air conditioning in the hot summer month of June, so it was difficult to beat the heat.
	Artist Bio:	渡辺幾春　watanabe ikuharu 明治28年（１８９５）～昭和50年（１９７５） 明治二十八年、名古屋市西区江川端町に生まる。九歳で名古屋の日本画家水谷芳年に絵を学ぶ。明治四十三年、名古屋市立第一高等小学校卒業後、京都に出て山本春挙に師事。大正七年、第12回文展に《百日紅》が初入選。大正11年、京都市立絵画専門学校別科に入学する。大正十四年卒業後、名古屋市中区に居を移し、名古屋在住の朝見香城、喜多村麦子、織田杏逸らと当地方の日本画の革新を求めて中京美術院を創設。昭和九年、三十九歳で東京に転居の後も、文展に入選するなど実力を発揮する。昭和二十七年、名古屋市千種区徳川山町三丁目に居を移す。中京画壇を代表する日本画家。
