Hiromitsu Nakazawa

Title: Nihonbashi in the Early Spring

Very rare. Limited edition.

Description: "Soshun no Nihonbashi" (Nihonbashi in the Early Spring). A section of the bustling Nihonbashi district in Tokyo in the early spring. People, some in the traditional style; the others in the fashionable Western style, are walking swiftly among the autos and the streetcars. The large brick building is seen on the other side of the wide street. Electric cables are running on the sky and creating interesting patterns accentuated by the round shape of a balloon.
Another impression is in the collection of Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.

Width Item: 9.6 inches = 24.5 cm
Height Item: 14.3 inches = 36.2 cm

Signature: "Hiro" on the bottom right. "Nakazawa Hiromitsu" is stamped as the artist on verso.

Dated: Ca. 1920s.
