I have not seen this scene before, so it is definitely very rare, but I can't explain why it is rare. If, say, 100 sheets were printed this scene should be more familiar. Perhaps something happened to most of the stock (damage?) prior to sale. I checked my KHI catalogues and this print is not listed.
The top-most seal in the right margin is the first edition seal, followed by the publisher seal, then the carver seal, then the printer seal. Printed by Ohno and blocks carved by Fujikawa. It surely dates to the early 1950s.

近江画廊様。 お世話になっております。 和田三造の版画のお問合せ、有難うございます。 この版画は1,2枚初版の在庫があったと思いますが、 おっしゃる通り、1950~1952年ころの作品です。 職業尽しのシリーズとは別に、庶民の暮らし、風俗を描いたものと思われます。 タイトルは「お手玉遊び」だと考えます。 品川拝。 This woodblock print's theme and the title is Japanese 'Toss Playing Children with beanbags' He was drawing many water paintings about professional jobs and also about various lives of ordinaly people. |
