The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

"Morning Sea at Shiribeshi, Bikuni", an original 1932 woodblock print by Kawase Hasui

This is an original Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui with the Watanabe "C" seal in the lower left margin, indicating that it is an early edition. This design was first published in 1932, and is hard to find today. This particular print is in fair condition with some fading in the pink sky, and some very light foxing in the bottom half of the image. It still displays nicely, and is a beautiful example of Hasui's skill in depicting ocean waves. The print size is oban, measuring about 10 x 15 inches in size.
